Oakview Windows showcases Roseview sash window at Travis Perkins branch +VOX

Oakview Windows has strengthened its outreach presence through a new partnership with builders’ merchant Travis Perkins, with a dedicated display stand showcasing Roseview’s PVC-U vertical sliding sash windows now installed at the merchant’s Bourne branch.

The move reflects a growing trend across the fenestration sector, where manufacturers and installers are increasingly investing in product displays within trade counters, merchant outlets and showrooms to help potential customers experience products first-hand before making purchasing decisions.

The new display gives homeowners, builders, installers and renovation specialists the opportunity to examine the quality, design and finish of Roseview’s sash windows up close. Oakview says the stand has been created to demonstrate the authentic appearance of the products while highlighting the performance benefits that have helped establish Roseview as one of the UK’s best-known sash window brands.

Visitors to the branch can view key features including timber-look styling, energy efficiency and the low-maintenance benefits associated with PVC-U construction. The windows are designed to suit both heritage renovation projects and contemporary homes, combining traditional aesthetics with modern performance standards.

Announcing the installation, Oakview Windows said it was “delighted” to have the Roseview display stand on show at Travis Perkins and described the partnership as an opportunity for customers to gain a better understanding of the products available for their projects.

The company added that the display allows visitors to experience the authentic look and premium finish of Roseview sash windows at first hand, whether they are planning a home improvement project, restoring a period property or exploring replacement window options.

Product displays have become an increasingly important sales tool across the fenestration market as businesses seek to bridge the gap between online research and purchasing decisions. Industry suppliers report that customers are more likely to proceed with enquiries when they can physically interact with products and compare styles, finishes and operating features before committing to an order.

Oakview also thanked the Travis Perkins team for supporting the initiative and helping to showcase the latest developments in sash window design.

The Roseview display stand is now available to view at Travis Perkins’ Bourne branch, providing visitors with an opportunity to see the quality and craftsmanship of the PVC-U vertical sliding sash windows for themselves.

Why This Matters: This method of promotion was very popular in the early 2000s among retail window firms, which took up positions outside large supermarkets. Results were impressive, but shoppers soon became tired of double-glazing salespeople hassling them after a big shop. Later, a major retail double-glazing company returned, this time pitching up outside B&Q. It worked well, although success was often driven by the enthusiasm of the salesperson. The audience was perfectly targeted, as replacement windows and doors were seen as being outside the scope of a DIYer. This latest initiative from Oakview is interesting and could grab the attention of both tradespeople and homeowners, who are increasingly frequenting builders’ merchants. The key is the product and, in this instance, it is one with strong kerb appeal and one many general tradespeople and builders will be unaware of: a good-looking, authentic PVC-U vertical-sliding window.
