Labour shortages have been an on-going headache for production managers in many of the fenestration industry’s leading organisation. Increased atomisation has been heralded as the saviour. The big question is do companies allocate sizeable budgets to invest in new machinery when they have many other short-term concerns: energy costs and raw material price rises.
