WinLinck system sparks debate over future building assembly +VOX

At Fensterbau 2026, Deceuninck presented WinLinck, a click-based system for window installation that drew steady attention from industry professionals and prompted a broader question: could this approach shape how building elements are assembled in the years ahead?

WinLinck is designed to simplify the installation process by allowing windows to be fitted into prefabricated modular frames using a “click and fit” method. The system is intended to support both industrial pre-production and rapid on-site installation, positioning it squarely within the growing interest in modular construction techniques.

Grzegorz Federowicz, Managing Director of Deceuninck Central Europe, framed the product within the company’s broader strategy. “The slogan of our trade fair presence is Solutions that matter,” he said. “It reflects our desire to translate the inspiration and ideas we get from our dialogue with customers into concrete design and technology concepts. We listen to their experiences, observe market trends and analyze specific needs.”

That philosophy was evident in Deceuninck’s presence at the show, where the emphasis remained on practical systems aimed at simplifying the work of manufacturers and installers while supporting more sustainable construction practices. WinLinck, as presented, sits at the intersection of those goals: reducing installation complexity while aligning with prefabrication workflows.

The system’s compatibility with modular construction drew particular interest from attendees. By enabling quicker and more precise placement of windows into pre-assembled structures, it addresses a persistent challenge in off-site construction—maintaining speed without compromising fit and finish.

For Deceuninck, the message was clear. By focusing on practical adjustments to established processes, the company is betting that incremental improvements in installation efficiency may carry significant weight as construction methods continue to evolve.

Why This Matters: Visitors repeatedly returned to a central question: whether solutions like WinLinck represent a broader shift in how building components will be assembled. While the answer remains open, the level of engagement at Fensterbau suggests that interest in standardized, click-based installation methods is growing.
