Express Bi Folding Doors prepares for the next stage of its growth +VOX

Express Bi Folding Doors has opened a new two-floor showroom in Milton Keynes as the aluminium glazing manufacturer and installer prepares for the next stage of its growth.

The company, founded in 2007 as a father-and-son business, said the new showroom had now been fitted out and opened as part of a wider programme of investment across its UK operations.

Managing director Stephen Bromberg said 2026 had been “an incredibly busy” year for the business, with four new product launches and appearances at four live events already completed.

The company, which manufactures and installs bespoke aluminium products, offers bi-folding doors, sliding doors, aluminium windows, entrance doors, glass roof products, curtain walling and bespoke glazed solutions.

Its products are made at its 200,000 sq ft manufacturing facility and displayed across its showroom network, which includes locations from Weybridge in Surrey to East Kilbride in Glasgow.

Mr Bromberg said Express had also carried out “huge updates” to its Leeds, Weybridge and Glasgow showrooms to showcase its latest product launches.

The business has also updated the outdoor living displays outside its Leeds showroom and established a partnership with global furniture brand BoConcept.

He said the Milton Keynes showroom was “a spectacular space” owned by the company on a freehold basis.

“As we approach our 20th year of trading we are very much gearing up for the next phase of our growth journey,” Mr Bromberg said.

The company is now recruiting for a number of roles, including sales positions and opportunities for skilled and experienced surveyors.

Mr Bromberg said Express was looking for surveyors to cover London and the surrounding area, as well as roles supporting sales generated through its Milton Keynes, Leeds and Glasgow showrooms.

“If you’re industry experienced and looking to move to a fast moving, growing and industry leading company then take a look at the vacancies on our website,” he said.

Express offers a turnkey service, taking customers from design through to installation using its in-house team.

The company said its systems had been featured on television programmes including Grand Designs, George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces and Sarah Beeny’s Double Your Home for Half the Money.

Mr Bromberg said the activity so far this year reflected the company’s momentum as it continues to expand its showroom presence and product range.

The business said the new Milton Keynes site, alongside upgrades to existing showrooms, would help support customer demand and provide a platform for further growth.

Why This Matters: “Express Bi Folding Doors has long been at the forefront of promotional trends, and its latest investment in showrooms will be of considerable interest to the wider industry. Of particular significance is the role these new and upgraded showrooms are expected to play in the company’s growth plans. Across the UK fenestration sector, there is a noticeable shift towards greater use of showrooms to support both retail and trade sales.

“For a growing number of trade and retail purchasers, the ability to physically inspect and visualise products before committing to a purchase is becoming increasingly important. Express Bi Folding Doors is clearly seeking to capitalise on this trend. Its move to recruit additional surveyors also points to an anticipated increase in demand for its products.”
