Titon Hardware has acquired G-Pack Manufacturing Limited, a UK supplier of injection moulded plastic components used in the installation of windows and doors. The deal adds a range of installation accessories to Titon’s existing Window and Door Hardware portfolio, including bridge packers, flat packers, sill end caps and frame corner protectors.
G-Pack’s products are designed to work with major UK window system profiles and are used by fabricators across the country.
Titon said the acquisition would give customers access to a broader product offer, with G-Pack’s installation accessories sitting alongside its existing hardware range.
The company said the move would support customers who require practical and reliable components for window and door manufacture and installation.
G-Pack also brings an adjacent customer base and established product knowledge. Titon said it would manage the integration carefully, with a focus on maintaining continuity for customers while identifying opportunities to improve service, availability and product support.
The products are currently made through a third-party manufacturing partner. As part of the integration, Titon plans over time to bring production into its Haverhill facility.
The company said this would give it greater control over production, quality and future product development. It added that the move would allow it to make better use of its existing injection moulding capability.
Titon said the acquisition supports its strategy to invest in complementary products and build on its UK manufacturing base.
For the time being, G-Pack will continue to operate as a standalone subsidiary of Titon. Existing customer contacts, ordering arrangements and supply processes will remain unchanged unless customers are advised otherwise.
Steve Barnes, the current owner of G-Pack, will join Titon on a fixed-term contract to support the integration and help ensure a smooth transition.
Tom Carpenter, chief executive officer of Titon, said the acquisition was “a positive step” for the business and supported delivery of its Titon 2028 strategy. “G-Pack’s products sit naturally alongside our existing Window and Door Hardware range and give customers access to a broader product offer,” he said.
“Over time, we expect to bring G-Pack’s currently outsourced production into our Haverhill facility. This will give us greater control over manufacturing and support the better use of our existing injection moulding capability.”
The acquisition marks a further expansion of Titon’s product range in the window and door hardware market, with the company positioning G-Pack’s accessories as a complementary addition to its existing offer.
Why This Matters: Acquisitions in the fenestration sector show no sign of slowing, and Titon’s latest move deserves closer attention. The acquisition of G-Pack looks a smart strategic fit, broadening Titon’s product offer to a customer base already likely to be receptive to those products.
The key point, however, is manufacturing. G-Pack currently relies on a third-party supplier, but Titon intends to bring production in-house at its Haverhill facility. If delivered successfully, that will strengthen Titon’s UK manufacturing footprint and provide a positive signal for both the local workforce and British manufacturing.
