SOUND BITES: Profine Group expands into Canada, eyeing North American growth

PVC-U window and door systems supplier, Profine Group, is making a significant stride in its global expansion strategy with the inauguration of a new sales branch in Canada. Operating under its renowned Kömmerling brand, the new facility in Morden, Manitoba, includes a dedicated warehouse, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s international growth.

This strategic move is set to bolster profine Group’s presence across the North American market, complementing the long-established operations of the Kömmerling USA production site in Huntsville, Alabama. The dual presence underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening its foothold in the region.

Dr. Peter Mrosik, Owner and CEO of Profine Group, highlighted the strategic importance of this venture, stating: “Canada is a strategic market for the future of our company. With our energy-efficient window and door systems, we aim to create new momentum and become an active part of the construction and fenestration industry. This investment underlines our dedication to sustainable growth and proximity to customers worldwide.

Robert Thiroff, Executive Director International Markets at Profine, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the substantial potential. “Our Kömmerling product portfolio offers a wide range of attractive solutions for the Canadian market – from tilt-and-turn windows to lift-and-slide doors and hybrid systems, as well as low-maintenance decking and fencing solutions,” Thiroff noted. He further added the company’s ambition to set new standards in sustainability, contributing to more energy-efficient homes and reducing the carbon footprint of public and commercial buildings. The expansion signals profine Group’s long-term vision for sustainable growth and enhanced customer service in a vital market.”
