Carlisle Window Systems is marking 30 years of partnership with Eurocell, a relationship the company says has supported its rise from a local installer to one of Cumbria’s established window and door specialists. Over three decades, Carlisle Window Systems has manufactured and installed a range of Eurocell systems, including Logik and Modus, while expanding its offering across residential and commercial projects.
The partnership has centred on technical support, product development and long-term collaboration. Carlisle said Eurocell’s assistance with specification guidance, U-value calculations and building regulation advice has helped the business deliver energy-efficient products to homeowners and developers while supporting its wider growth plans.
Liam Kelly, managing director of Carlisle Window Systems, said the supplier relationship had played an important role in the company’s development.
“Our growth over the last 30 years has been built on strong, long-term partnerships, and Eurocell has played a key part in that journey,” he said. “Working with a supplier that consistently supports us with technical expertise and shares our values has been fundamental to our success.”
Kelly also credited Stephen Greaves, Eurocell’s North East technical engineer, for his contribution to the business over the years.
“His knowledge and commitment over the years have played an important role in helping us achieve the position we’re in today,” he said.
Tony Morrison, head of national key accounts at Eurocell, described Carlisle Window Systems as an example of sustained family-led growth supported by long-standing industry relationships.
“We’re proud to have worked alongside them for decades and look forward to supporting their continued growth in both PVC-U and aluminium,” he said.
The partnership has also supported Carlisle’s move into timber frame projects through Eurocell’s InSite window system, which allows fully finished windows to be fitted directly into panels during production. The company said the approach reduces labour requirements, shortens construction schedules and provides a wind and watertight structure at an early stage of the build process.
Recent work has included aluminium bi-fold doors, sliding systems and windows, alongside participation in Eurocell recycling and waste take-back schemes.
Still led by father and son Jock and Liam Kelly, Carlisle Window Systems recently partnered with local charity Chrysalis, supplying and installing windows and doors free of charge for the organisation’s Carlisle site.
Why This Matters: In a pressured PVC-U market, long-term supplier partnerships offer fabricators technical consistency, dependable support and commercial stability, helping businesses maintain confidence, efficiency and customer trust despite growing supplier competition and margin pressures.
