PRODUCTS: NanaWall enters new territory with launch of Generation 4 Tilt Turn and Fixed Windows

NanaWall has expanded its high-performance window solutions with the introduction of Generation 4 Tilt Turn and Fixed Windows, marking a strategic move into broader market segments. Designed to align visually and technically with the Generation 4 product family, the new offerings enhance architectural flexibility while upholding the brand’s standards for energy performance and contemporary aesthetics.

At the core of the Tilt Turn design is a dual-function opening mechanism that allows users to tilt the window vertically for controlled ventilation or swing it inward horizontally for maximum airflow and easy maintenance. A single intuitive handle enables both operations, supporting inclusive usability for a wide range of users.

The system also delivers on energy performance. Featuring continuous perimeter seals and advanced thermal breaks, the Tilt Turn windows are dry-glazed with double or triple-insulated glass, engineered to mitigate heat and cold transfer. Drainage systems built into the frame further boost water resistance, a critical feature in regions prone to adverse weather.

Meanwhile, the Fixed Windows—offered in matching finishes—enable design continuity when paired with floor-to-ceiling sliding or folding systems. Available in aluminum, wood, and clad variants, all finishes are harmonised with the Generation 4 palette, ensuring seamless integration in mixed-system installations.

“The Generation 4 Tilt Turn and Fixed Windows represent a natural extension of our product vision—offering design cohesion without compromise on performance,” a NanaWall spokesperson said.

This launch positions NanaWall to meet rising demand for thermally efficient, architecturally unified solutions in both residential and commercial construction. As sustainability and occupant comfort become increasingly central to building design, the new systems provide specifiers with tools to enhance both aesthetic and environmental outcomes.

With Generation 4 now encompassing a full suite of operable and fixed fenestration solutions, NanaWall is poised to solidify its position as a leader in adaptive, energy-conscious architectural glazing.

Why this matters: The development of an increase number of high-performance windows solutions available in the US is a important sign in the move towards more energy efficiency. The creation of tilt and turn windows is also a welcomed addition as product design continues to be influenced by products from central europe.
